The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has officially opened up applications for the 2025 Fulbright Scholar Program. Approximately 15 scholars will be selected for 2025.

Who Can Apply?

The USEFP Fulbright Scholar Program is open to Pakistani citizens who hold a Ph.D. or a terminal degree in their field. Applicants should have a demonstrated track record of academic excellence and a strong research proposal or teaching plan. Additionally, candidates must be committed to returning to Pakistan after their grant period. They need to contribute to their home country’s academic and professional community.

Interested candidates should prepare a detailed application. The application should include a research or teaching proposal. It should also have letters of recommendation and other required documentation. Grant Benefits

The grant covers travel expenses, a living stipend, health insurance, and an incidental research allowance. One accompanying dependant is also fund under the program. USEFP will help in the application process for a visa.

Qualifications

All academics, professions, and artists are encourage to apply; but, those specializing in clinical medicine are not.

The applicant must have held the degree for at least two years. 

(Those who have visited the US in the last five years for research are not eligible. Those who have visited for other extended educational purposes are also not eligible).
