Pakistan Scottish Scholarship Scheme 2023-24. Under the Pakistan Scholarship Scheme program, the HEC Pakistan Scholarship Scheme provides grants to Pakistani women for postgraduate studies at any university recognized by HEC across the country at the Master’s level.
The Scottish Government funds grants for a maximum two-year Master’s degree at any accredited university in order to support higher education.
For the first time this year, the Pakistan Scottish Scholarship is also available for four-year bachelor’s degrees, increasing women’s opportunities to pursue four-year undergraduate degrees and enabling them to fulfill their potential and aspirations.
Aside from administrative considerations, the British Council in Pakistan will communicate directly with the selected students and universities or through a university representative.

Awards
Scholarship recipients under the Pakistan Scottish Scholarship Scheme will receive assistance in the following areas:
- Tuition fees for courses in eligible disciplines and university hostel expenses (where applicable).
- Travel expenses from the university to home and from home to the university twice a year for students staying in campus hostels.
Eligibility Criteria
These scholarships will be awarded to women only.
- Candidates must be a citizen of Pakistan
- Currently residing in Pakistan
- A four-year bachelor’s degree or a two-year master’s degree in the listed subjects.
- Have a guaranteed offer of admission from a HEC-recognized university in Pakistan

Subjects
The scholarship will cover the expenses for a four-year bachelor’s degree or a two-year master’s degree in one of the following subjects at a Pakistani university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) only.

- Food Security and Agriculture
