The program will assist the Punjab government in strengthening its housing institutions and procedures, as well as increasing the quantity and quality.
The emphasis will be on encouraging private sector participation in affordable housing provision through infrastructure investment support and the provision of alternative housing solutions to the poorest.
This includes strengthening institutions with critical roles in housing policy and programs, deepening housing sector regulatory reforms, and promoting livability and sustainability of housing through climate resilient and energy infrastructure investments.
